Grant/Funding Agreement Terms and Conditions

Funding must be used for the agreed charitable, community, operational, programme, or project purpose. If funding is restricted, the restriction must be recorded clearly in writing before the Foundation accepts the funds.

Funding is accepted only when received and acknowledged by the Foundation or otherwise confirmed in writing. Acceptance of funding does not create employment, agency, control, or decision-making rights for the funder unless expressly agreed in writing.

Unless the written agreement states otherwise or the Foundation is legally required to return funds, grants, funding, sponsorships, and donations are not refundable once accepted. If the Foundation cannot use restricted funds for the intended purpose, it may discuss an alternative use or return arrangement with the funder where appropriate.

The Foundation may provide reasonable updates or reports where agreed. Reporting requirements should be proportionate to the funding value, project complexity, and administrative capacity of the Foundation.

Use of names, logos, photographs, case studies, or public announcements must be agreed in advance. Safeguarding, privacy, dignity, and consent must be considered before any publicity involving children, families, volunteers, or beneficiaries.

The Foundation may pause, refuse, or end a funding relationship if safeguarding concerns, unlawful activity, reputational concerns, conflicts of interest, breach of terms, or inappropriate conditions arise.
