Partner Funding Policy

The Foundation may accept funding from businesses, individuals, grant makers, community organisations, or partners where the funding supports lawful and appropriate Foundation purposes and does not compromise safeguarding, independence, public trust, or ethical standards.

Funding may be refused where it creates unacceptable reputational risk, involves inappropriate conditions, creates unmanaged conflicts of interest, appears connected to unlawful activity, conflicts with the Foundation’s values, or could place children, families, staff, volunteers, donors, or the public at risk.

Partner funding does not give a funder control over Foundation decisions, safeguarding standards, beneficiary selection, procurement, staff decisions, or public messaging unless such matters are clearly and lawfully agreed in writing and remain appropriate.

Significant funding, sponsorship, or grant support should be recorded in writing. Terms may include purpose, amount, payment schedule, reporting expectations, branding permissions, restrictions, review points, termination, and what happens if funds cannot be used for the intended purpose.

Unless a written agreement states otherwise or the Foundation is legally required to return funds, partner funding, sponsorship payments, grants, and donations are not refundable once accepted. Funding partners should ensure they understand the agreed purpose and terms before payment.
